Dear Paulo,
You have set a new standard for me, for birding trips. It will be very difficult, may I say, impossible , do better. You have given me so many memories: an owl with “eyes” in the back of its head, blue-and-yellow macaws, the love of my life with Hyacinth Macaws appeared, jabirus by the 100’s & Jabiru nests by the dozens.
Thank you for sharing & showing me this little piece of heaven. Your ability coax birds into the open, recognise then by the faintest song is amazing. Thank you for the wonderful holiday which has far exceed my expectations.

The International Ornithological committee is a group of international ornithologists, about 200 in number, that is responsible for the International Ornithological Congress and other international ornithological activity such as those undertaken by its Standing Committees.

Recent Trips
Highlights 2010.

AUGUST:

Due the International Ornithological Congress we had up to 10 trips to several destinations, such the Pantanal, Serra das Araras, Chapada dos Guimaraes National Park , Atlantic Forest and Serra da Capivara.

Since it would a bit "too much" to describe each one of them, we can make a short story saying that ALL of them where of a Great Success, including two special owls, in a row, at Serra das Araras: Black-Banded and Spectacled Owls. Plus "dinamite" looks at the Harpy Eagles!!!

In addition to that we also had a Photo Tour to the Pantanal, where our guests had a chance to photograph a Jaguar jumping after caimans.

The Jaguar didn't get any caiman, but , we got his image in the air(!!!). Such picture will be displayes soon, at the main page of our web site.
