Trip Highlights 2016

NOVEMBER, 2016
We just had, our last tour, in Mato Grosso…Well, last but, not least!!!
We cover Alta Floresta, The Pantanal and Chapada dos Guimarães National Park! Over 450 Birds!
Including photos of a male Ruby Topaz Hummingbird, in Chapada!
We were a group of about 10 guests – Everyone went home with a big smile & big bird list!
Now, in December, it will be the last tour for 2016, covering the Atlantic Forest.
We hope to see you, in Brazil, in 2017!
JUNE, 2016
It’s Bird & Jaguar Time, at the Pantanal!!!

June:  This is the start of  the peak of the season for the Pantanal!

Reason: The water level, on the Cuiaba River, is low enough to bring back the Jaguars  looking for food: Capybaras and Caimans. And,  low enough to bring back the birds too!!!  On the sand banks of the Cuiaba River, we can find colonies of Yellow-billed  and Large-billed Terns, Collared Plovers and, the lovely, Pied Lapwing/Plover. If, it is too late for you to plan a trip to the Pantanal, in 2016…No Problem! We are already booking trips for 2017 and 2018! So, what are you waiting for to request our itinerary & respective rates? 🙂
